Since May of 1949, Mason
City Kennel Club has held American Kennel Club licensed dog shows
and provides the
North Iowa area with classes in obedience, conformation, and
'puppy kindergarten. In addition, the club offers free
educational programs and obedience demonstrations to schools and
civic organizations throughout the
A Therapy Dog program, with certified Therapy Dogs
is available for visits to area nursing homes and hospitals.
Also offered by MCKC is a breed referral program for those interested in obtaining a purebred dog.
The members of Mason City Kennel Club dedicate ourselves to educating the public through the choosing and training of a canine companion that will be a joy to family, friends and neighbors.
